These days a Formula One steering wheel is one of the most complex parts of the car. With so many buttons, switches and dials, the drivers are kept busy making adjustments to optimise car performance. I took this photo in Budapest to show just how complicated the wheel has become, but also to show its beauty. Made by hand from the lightest materials, it’s a work of art and demonstrates perfectly why Formula One is at the pinnacle of automotive technology.
