Lighthouse in Mallorca by Pedro de la Rosa

“For me this picture is very special because it is the entrance to the bay of Porto Colom which is where I spend my summers in Mallorca. It is the lighthouse of Porto Colom and that is the bow of my boat. The house you can see on the left is the house my parents rented in summer when we were small and, as a result of spending my summers there, we decided to build our own house nearby. So this photo is special for three reasons: it has my boat, which I spend a lot of time on, the lighthouse which is an emblem of Porto Colom and the house we rented which sparked our love for Porto Colom. If I were to describe what I feel when looking at this picture in one word it would be happiness because that is where I would go for a swim with my friends when I was a kid.”
